Rights & Ownership Policy

This Rights & Ownership Policy (“Policy”) explains the ownership, licensing, usage rights, and restrictions related to any audio, music, sound, or musical content (“Generated Content”) produced using Artaist AI, owned and operated by Appventure Inc. / Artaist AI (“Company”, “We”, “Us”). By using Artaist AI, you (“User”, “You”) agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Purpose of This Policy

The purpose of this Policy is to:

• Protect the intellectual property of real artists, musicians, and copyright owners.
• Clearly define ownership of all AI-generated outputs.
• Regulate commercial and personal usage of generated music.
• Prevent copyright infringement and legal misuse of the platform.
• Establish legal responsibility of users.

2. Prohibited Use – No Replication of Real Songs or Artists

Users are strictly prohibited from:

• Attempting to recreate, clone, reproduce, imitate, or replicate any existing copyrighted song, musical composition, vocals, melodies, lyrics, or sound recording.
• Generating music “in the style of,” “copy of,” or “exact match” of real artists, bands, composers, labels, or copyrighted works.
• Uploading or prompting content that intentionally violates copyright law.

Artaist AI does not allow generating music identical to popular or existing tracks, creating sound-alike copies for deception, or replacing licensed works with AI replicas. Any attempt to generate copyrighted material is the sole responsibility of the user.

3. Ownership of AI-Generated Music

Unless explicitly licensed by the User as described in Section 4:

• All music, audio, and Generated Content created through Artaist AI remains the exclusive property of Artaist AI / Company.
• Users receive no ownership rights by default.

Users may only use Generated Content for personal listening, non-commercial creative exploration, or demo preview purposes. Users may not claim authorship, sell, distribute, publish, upload to streaming platforms, or monetize without a valid license.

4. Licensing & Transfer of Rights to the User

Artaist AI provides an optional Licensing Feature within the app. If the User purchases a license for a specific generated track:

• Ownership and licensing rights of the selected Generated Content are transferred to the User.
• The User is granted exclusive rights to use, distribute, monetize, publish, perform, edit, remix, and commercially exploit the licensed track.
• The Company permanently relinquishes ownership of that specific licensed track.
• The User becomes the legal owner and copyright holder of the licensed music.

Licensing is track-based, permanent, irrevocable, and exclusive to the User. Proof of license will be available within the application.

5. Unlicensed Content

If the User does not purchase a license:

• The content remains fully owned by Artaist AI.
• The User cannot use it for any public, commercial, or monetized purposes.

The Company may store, reuse, improve, or repurpose the Generated Content for AI model training, product improvement, marketing, and internal research.

6. Intellectual Property & Copyright Compliance

Artaist AI complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Users agree:

• Not to misuse AI technology to violate copyright law.
• To respect rights of creators, artists, composers, and record labels.
• To accept full legal responsibility for prompts, inputs, and intended usage.

The Company reserves the right to remove infringing content, block users, and provide information to legal authorities when legally required.

7. Commercial Usage

Commercial usage is only permitted if the User has purchased a valid license as stated in Section 4. Commercial usage includes but is not limited to:

• Streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.)
• YouTube and social media monetization
• Advertising, film, gaming, podcast, or media projects
• Sale of songs or beats and distribution via publishers or labels
• Use in NFTs, Web3, and blockchain music assets

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Artaist AI provides Generated Content “as is,” without guarantees. The Company is not responsible for:

• User misuse
• Legal disputes caused by user actions
• Improper commercial usage without licensing

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any claims, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from misuse or violation of this Policy.

9. Policy Changes

Artaist AI reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time. Continued use of the application signifies acceptance of any changes.
